Students

An AI assistant for students that builds understanding, not shortcuts

OPTES explains the lesson you didn't get in a different way, with simpler examples, in Arabic, your dialect or English. Then it quizzes you, marks your answers and explains your mistakes. It turns lecture recordings into text you can summarise, reads photos of your notes and builds a revision plan before exams. The goal is that you understand and master it, within your school's rules on AI use.

What it does for you

Windows 10 and 11 · 64-bit · launching Monday, October 5, 2026

What OPTES does for you

Explain the lesson another way

Tell it what you didn't understand and it explains step by step with everyday examples, then asks you questions to check. Ask for a simpler version or another example whenever you need.

An example of what you type

I don't get what a derivative actually is. Explain it step by step with an everyday example, then ask me two questions

AvailableWriting, editing and translation

Practice questions with feedback

Creates questions at your syllabus level for a chapter you choose, then marks your answers and explains every mistake instead of handing you the solution. You try again until it clicks.

An example of what you type

Make ten multiple-choice questions on blood circulation for my biology course, and don't show the answers until I finish

AvailableWriting, editing and translation

Summarise a recorded lecture

Upload a lecture recording, where recording is allowed, and it turns it into text, then into key points and terms. Compare it with your own notes; it supports revision, not attendance.

An example of what you type

This is my organic chemistry lecture recording. Transcribe it, then summarise it in bullet points with a list of key terms and definitions

AvailableSpeech to text

Revision plan before exams

Give it your exam dates, chapters and available hours and it builds a realistic daily plan with review sessions and short quizzes. Adjust it as you make progress.

An example of what you type

My exams are in three weeks: physics, biology and English. I can study four hours a day. Make me a revision timetable

AvailableWriting, editing and translation

Notes and textbook pages

Photograph your handwritten notes or a textbook page and it reads them and turns them into flashcards or questions. Check that the text it read matches the original.

An example of what you type

Turn these photos of my notes on the First World War into twenty flashcards, question on one side and answer on the other

AvailableReading images and documents

Learn to code by understanding

When your program breaks it explains the cause and hints at the fix before writing it, so you learn to think like a programmer. Ask for the full solution only after trying yourself.

An example of what you type

My Python program prints the same number on every loop. Don't fix it for me, just tell me where to look

FAQ

Questions and answers

How does OPTES help students?

It explains lessons in different ways, creates and marks practice questions with explanations, summarises recorded lectures, reads photos of your notes and builds revision plans. Its role is to help you understand and practise, not to do your assignments for you.

Am I allowed to use it for assignments and research?

That depends on your school, university and teacher, so always follow your institution's rules on AI use. Use it to understand, practise and revise, submit work that reflects your own understanding, and disclose its use when asked.

Can I record lectures and transcribe them?

Yes, if your teacher or university allows recording. OPTES turns the recording into text and summarises it, but review the summary against your notes, since fine details and terminology may need correcting.

Does it explain in dialect or in Modern Standard Arabic?

In whatever way you write. Ask in your dialect and it answers in it; if you want Modern Standard Arabic, or English for a subject taught in English, just say so. Technical terms stay in their own language when you need them.
