Architects

An AI assistant for architects, for everything around the drawings

OPTES helps with everything that surrounds the drawings. It generates concept images from your description of massing, materials and mood, turns client meeting notes into a clear brief, builds and updates the area schedule, reads site photos and drafts presentation text. Approved and stamped drawings remain your own work.

What OPTES does for you

Concept images from a description

Describe the massing, materials and mood. OPTES generates concept images for early discussion, and you choose which directions to develop in your own drawings.

An example of what you type

Concept views of a two-storey courtyard house in Basra: brick, mashrabiya screens, deep shade, evening light.

Brief from the client meeting

From your meeting notes it drafts a clear brief: spaces, priorities, budget notes and open questions, ready for the client to confirm.

An example of what you type

From these notes, write a brief for a family villa: five bedrooms, a guest majlis with its own entrance and a courtyard, plus the questions we still need answered.

AvailableWriting, editing and translation

Area schedule

Give it the room list and target areas. It builds an area schedule with totals per floor and per use, and recalculates as soon as the programme changes.

An example of what you type

Build an area schedule for these spaces with a total per floor, and warn me if we go over 450 square metres overall.

Read site photos

Send site photos and a sketch plan. OPTES describes orientation clues, neighbouring heights, access and existing conditions as a checklist for your site analysis.

An example of what you type

These are photos of the plot from all four sides. Write site analysis notes: neighbours, access, trees and what to measure on the next visit.

Client presentation text

It writes the project story, the concept and a caption for each board in language the client understands, in Arabic or English, with terms kept consistent across documents.

An example of what you type

Write the concept presentation text for the client in six slides: idea, courtyard, privacy, light, materials and next step.

Project presentation page

It turns the images and text into a web presentation, checks it at desktop, tablet and phone sizes, and publishes it only after you see the cost and approve.

An example of what you type

Make a presentation page for the villa project with the concept images and text, so it reads well on a phone when I send it to the client.

FAQ

Questions and answers

How does OPTES help architects?

With the work around design: concept images for discussion, briefs from client notes, area schedules, site photo notes, and presentation text and pages. The design and its decisions remain yours.

Does it produce construction or stamped drawings?

No. It produces neither construction nor stamped drawings and does not replace your professional approval. It helps with concepts, briefs, area schedules and text; the drawings and approvals remain your work and responsibility.

Are the concept images accurate designs?

They are mood and direction images to open a conversation, not measured designs. Use them to agree on the spirit of the project with the client early, then develop the chosen direction in your own drawings.

Can it write for Arab clients in their own register?

Yes. It writes briefs and presentation text in Modern Standard Arabic, a dialect close to the client, or English, and keeps architectural terms consistent from the first document to the last.
