Photographers

An AI assistant for photographers that gives you back time to shoot

OPTES takes on what keeps a photographer away from the camera. It goes through a shoot and flags closed eyes, missed focus and near-duplicates, writes captions and alt text in two languages, drafts shot lists and event timelines, and organises files with a script. It also builds and publishes your portfolio site after you approve; your edit and style stay yours.

What OPTES does for you

First-pass cull of a shoot

Send the set of frames. OPTES flags closed eyes, missed focus and near-duplicates and suggests a shortlist; the final selection is yours.

An example of what you type

Here are 120 frames from the engagement shoot. Flag closed eyes and soft shots, and suggest the best 30 for the couple.

AvailableReading images and documents

Captions and alt text

From the images and your notes it writes captions, descriptions and alt text in Arabic and English for your portfolio, social posts or a client gallery.

An example of what you type

Write a short caption and alt text for each photo in the Mutanabbi Street series, in Arabic and English, in a calm, understated tone.

Shot lists and event timelines

From a client's message it drafts the booking confirmation, the required shot list and the event-day timeline, in the tone you use with clients.

An example of what you type

Wedding on 12 November in Erbil, ceremony at 5, reception at 8. Write a shot list and a timeline for my second shooter.

Organise your files

OPTES writes a script that renames files by date and client and sorts RAW and JPEG into folders, running it on a copy first so you can check.

An example of what you type

Sort the export folder: rename files as date then client name, split RAW from JPEG, and list any duplicates.

Reference board before a shoot

It generates reference images for lighting, styling and location, so the client and the team agree on the look before shoot day.

An example of what you type

Reference images for a perfume product shoot: soft side light, a warm stone backdrop and a touch of sunset glow.

Your portfolio site

It builds a fast portfolio site from your folders, checks it at phone sizes, and publishes it only after you see the cost and approve.

An example of what you type

Build a portfolio from the portraits, weddings and street folders, with a dark background and a contact page. Tell me the cost before publishing.

FAQ

Questions and answers

How does OPTES help photographers?

With the work around the shoot: a first-pass cull, bilingual captions and alt text, shot lists and timelines, file organising, reference images and a portfolio site. Your eye and your style stay yours.

Does it edit or retouch my photos?

No. Editing and retouching stay with you and the software you already use. OPTES reads your photos to help you shortlist, describe and organise, and generates reference images for planning only.

Does it choose the final images for me?

No. It suggests a shortlist and flags obvious technical problems, but the final selection is your decision, because it is part of your style and of what you want the client to see.

Can it write to my clients in Arabic?

Yes. It writes booking confirmations, messages and captions in Modern Standard Arabic, the dialect you use with clients, or English, and keeps the tone you usually use with them.
